hey there
recently my periods have been extremely frequent. this past cycle was only 17 days and the one before that was only 19. my periods are lasting the usual 5-7 days as they did before. however, i am on my 3 period in 36 days right now and i am bleeding more than usual. it's definetly heavier with more clotting. i am also feeling faint, dizzy and nauseous (blacking out momentarily and dry heaving at work.. not fun!). i have also lost 4 lbs in the past three days. i know that you normally bloat up before/during your period and lose it after.. but i've lost 4 lbs from my normal weight, not my bloaty fatty weight.
before this whole stint, my period had been coming once every 2-4 months since last september. before that my period was monthly and regular and i could predict it within a range of a few days.
i just recently turned 19 and have been the same weight for the past few years (aside from this current weight loss). i dont know whether to be freaked out or not..
i dont have a family physician and i just went to a clinic and they gave me a number to call a nurse but the phone line was busy so i had to leave a message.
anyone in the same boat as me? what do you reccomend i do? anyone have an idea if this is a serious problem or am i just being paranoid??
