Hi,

I tend to have irregular periods however they always show up every month, no matter how irregular they are. I've never skipped a period. I have been celibate for the past 12 months and recently had sex again. For the past 3/4 months my period has been due around the 4th,5th or 6th of the beginning of the month however on the 2nd of this month (December) I had what I thought was the beginning of my period however it was really light and i've never had a light period EVER. We used a condom as protection and he even pulled out before he came and so it didn't cross my mind that I could be pregnant, however i've decided to go on the pill and i'm ready to start however I don't know whether i've actually started or not as it's the 3rd of December now and its still very light . Everything else feels normal, I have no other signs of pregnancy, apart from feeling really tired but that i know is due to late nights. The cramps I get, the hunger pangs etc are all the usual signs my body lets me know i'm coming on soon. I was once told that a change in sexual partners could mean a change in your monthly cycle, is this true? As I haven't been had sex since last December (apart from the above incident) is it a possibility my cycle might have changed due to that? Please let get back to me, as I would love to know xlx

well wait to see if your period comes late and if it does get a pregnancy test done because you could be spotting (that is a pregnancy symptom). but sometimes i get that kind of discharge before my period comes. ur period can be nice and give you a warning before you actually get it but that doesnt happen often it just means ur probably gonna get your period heavier then normal. you might also be getting a light period for the first time. well tell me how everything goes. :-)

Thank you so much for your response i was so anxious. Thankfully I did come on my period later on that day and you were right its been really heavy. I've never really had any pre-period warnings like that before so that was a first. Take Care :-)
