Are you asking if gabapentin is animal-derived or if it is synthesized? It does have an odor but it is a synthesized chemical. Is that what you would like to know? I am trying to figure out why a drug would not be okay for vegetarians unless you are referring to reduced protein intake or perhaps a lack of vitamin B12. I am really curious as to what that would impact. In any case, I hope that the drug helps you with your disease. I appreciate in advance any questions you are able to answer. Thanks!

Ive been on gabapentin for a few yrs and its the only thing that helps. But my refil i got this month i noticed when i opened the bottle smelled like awful vitamins. Never had this happened before. Is that normal for them to smell like awful vitamins?

My urine smells AWFUL and when taken in capsule form, it makes you your breath smell awful !!! It does help tho.

Agree it's so bad now I'm tasting a metallic taste in my mouth, as well this happens after I take it regularly for a while then take a break deal with the pain and the smell and taste go away

Drink unsweetened 100% cranberry juice with apple cider vinegar. If you don't like the taste. You can also buy them in capsule form. And at least 1 gallon of water a day
