Hi, my urine smells very strong. Could it be sign of some infection. Apart from this I can’t notice any other changes in urine, and I have no symptoms or pain.

Hi, change of smell of urine usually means an infection. Fresh urine which has just been produced is sterile and has no smell. Bacteria break down urea, and convert to chemicals such as ammonia which has an offensive smell. If bacteria are present in urinary tract or on the skin they can induce change of smell of urine. So, you may have an infection or you are about to develop it. But, as you have no other symptoms, any conclusion shouldn’t be made based on only one fact. You can have your urine sample analyzed anyway to check if there is any unusual growth of bacteria.
