Hi, I think that generic oxycontins will never be able to replace the brand. I had a surgery a year ago, and this drug really helped me in decreasing the pain. I have been using 80mg oxycontin brand for a few months, and when I replaced it for a generic, my pain became unbearable. I don’t recomand you to do the same mistake as me. You better make some effort and find the brand. The only thing that might be a problem, is that the better drug is also mor expensive. It is a big difference between 800 bucks 1200! Two companies are producing the same drug, and I think that one of them is Teva, and the other is Endo. Oxycodone is a strong and addictive opioid analgesic drug, but there might be some other drugs that are good as well. You should ask your doctor about that.
