Hi im 18 for the past couple of day s iv noticed my discharge is a greenish yellow colour, it also has a mild sweet smell im really scared as i had sex about a week ago. Iv also been suffering from a water infection which iv had for about 2 months it is no longer painful but the smell of my urine is really strong, do you think it could be some thing to do with that, please help as im really worried .

I am very concerned about a similar situation. I have a teenage daughter who happens to be a diabetic with this problem. I was glad she told me about it so that I could advise her to see her GYN. The problem is, after they ran tests, they called her and told her it was negative. Being young, she didn't think to ask any further questions. If I call, they probably wouldn't give me any info because of the privacy issue, which I understand. But it seems to me, that a greenish-yellowish discharge just can't be normal. I associate this with some sort of infection. If one test came back negative, shouldn't they run another? She also hasn't been very good at managing her diabetes. Could this be the cause? I hope someone can give me some possible answers so I can help her to do the right thing.
