Dear Susie
It may be something simple, like thrush, or something more sinister, The most common cause of green vaginal discharge is a sexually transmitted infection known as trichomoniasis, which would need immediate treatment, but there could be other causes, particularly as it stopped for a while. It could be from an imbalance in your vagina. You don't give much information.
Tell me more about your condition.
- What does it look like?
- What does it smell like?
- Does your vulva itch?
- Are you sexually active?
- Are you a virgin?
- Do you douche?
- Have you inserted anything in your vagina?
- What have you done differently the day before the discharge happens?
- Where are you from?
I hope I can help

Dear Susie,
It sounds like an infection, or a bacterial imbalance in your vagina, and I suggest seeing a medical practitioner.
You didn't answer all my questions though. When I asked about sexual activity, I didn't just mean sexual intercourse. Do you masturbate, or have sexual contact with a boyfriend?
Also what do you do differently the day before? So if it happens every Thursday morning, what do you do on Wednesdays? What have you eaten on Wednesdays?
Nor did you say where you live to make any suggestions of where to get help. Obviously you must not give out any information that could identify you or your residence, but general information about country/state/county might be helpful.

As is doesn't seem sexual activity related, can you see your medical practitioner. Can you talk to your mother or another adult? I do not understand why this only happens once a week, but it could be that your hormones are causing the problem. It may be that your periods are due to start soon. Or it could be that there is a recurring infection

If you were my daughter, I would be taking you to see a doctor right away. Is there no one at home you can talk to? What is your situation? Any abnormal discharge should be investigated. Even if I could see the problem, I would still want expert medical advice.
