Hard Lump On Scrotum

ya i got the exact thing the last guy is talking about, but all of us, if we shave down there, we could have easily pulled a hair and create an infection am i right i dunno.

I also have these small lumps on my scrotum. It is in the skin of the sac and not on the testis. I am 25 years old and have had these since I was about 15 years old. I have noticed that 1 in particular has gotten bigger over the years. so it is about half the size of a BB. There were SOME over the years that I could actually squeeze and get a white milky substance out (maybe puss but it really didn't seem the same...but again not sure). Those that remain are hard and painful if squeezed but don't bother me when left alone. I'm thinking that on my next doctor visit I will ask my doctor and get a final word...I will post what I am told.

I'm 19 and I too just found a small hard lump just under the skin of my scrotum at the base of the penis, about the size of a small BB pellet. I showed my girlfriend and naturally the first thing she tried to do was pop it. It didn't really hurt but it felt uncomfortable after squeezing it for more than a couple of seconds. While I was reading these responses it popped... A thick white/yellow fluid burst out of what I thought was a cyst.. To my horror and strangely her enjoyment she kept squeezing and squeezing and eventually we managed to absorb all the p***y fluid and there is no longer a hard bump.

Upon further inspection I noticed that in the opening where the p***y fluid burst from there appears to be a head of a hair in the follicle, so I'm guessing it was some kind of infected ingrown. There is still a tiny lump where it burst, but I'm hoping it will go down in the morning. So guys, try rubbing the bump with your fingers from the base towards the surface and then try to pop it... Worth a try

how do i remove such a thing at home?

I have about 4 or 5 of these, a girl that I dated jumped to the conclusion of HPV I told her she was stupid and went and got checked for her anyways, the doctor told me I had Genital Acne and there was no application used on the scrotum for the safety of fertility, I pride myself on my appear and well how I look everywhere, I know if I was a girl I would be hesitant upon discovering them too and then being asked to perform anything... so recently I stuck a needle inside one. No pain at all not even penetrating my scrotum, I thought wow weird; I pulled it out and squeezed and nothing came out. Maybe the stuff inside is too thick to pass through such a small hole, oh well I will talk to another doctor soon.

Basically,
this past summer I worked in hot, humid weather, it required lots of exercise, so I was constantly sweating. I noticed a little pimple like bump on my top left scrotum, just under my shaft. I ignored it thinking it was a pimple and it went away. About 2 months ago, it came back, and a little bigger. It was hard, kinda skin colored, would turn whitish when I squeezed. Generally, it was painless, I had no out of the ordinary itching, no discharge, nothing foul smelling. It was just there. It also doesn't fit the description of warts ether, it's not cauliflower shaped and it hasn't been spreading around my genitals. It's also not herpes because, well it doesn't fit the description and again, its not spreading.

Reading forums, I got scared, I knew I had really nothing to worry about, but its still a scary thought. But I am a virgin, but I have received oral once, but I was her first time and she was clean. It was also about a year ago.

So one day, reading the forums, someone told me they did a makeshift surgery by taking a small pin, sterilizing it, and making a little incision. I did it.

After I made the little puncture, I squeezed the base... which by the way, i could feel it underneath the skin, its not an above skin growth. well technically it is, but it started underneath. Anyways, I gently squeezed, making sure it would come out upwards. First blood came out, then about a little, harder substance that was about half the size of a grain of rice that was white came out, the followed by more blood.

Well, I have been using great hygiene now, and the wound is waaay smaller now. Its now a little scab that gets smaller everyday, that has a whitish surrounding, but the whitish surround is getting smaller too.
I'm using neosporin and a natural anti-bacterial soap in the shower twice a day. And I has been showing results.

So, the problem was, that it was an ingrown hair. I regret losing sleep over this thinking I was doomed with an sti.

oh also, my mom is a gynecologist, i told her the description and she pretty much agreed with me.

A spermatocele cyst can form in two places, both of which are behind the testicles, and would not cause it to be visible on the surface or inside the skin of the scrotum. Also a spermatocele cyst is filled with fluid, and the question being asked is about a hard bb like bump.

also everyone else only had one small lump you have 9?
seems like a bit much i would definatly get it checked out to be sure

My Scrotum had a black bump and now it has grown it covered almost half of my scrotum. What should i do? 

Guys this is very good advice. Don't be embarrassed to have these things looked at. I understand that exposing that area to a bunch of strangers is intimidating but always remember that you're dealing with medical professionals. Looking at your scrotum to a urologist is like a mechanic looking at carburetor. Nothing is gross to them. They're just doing their jobs and trying to help you. Also, be aware that any lump in the scrotal or testicle area is considered malignant (cancerous) until proven otherwise. Don't let your fears or embarrassment stop you from getting these things looked at. Just because most of the people have reported that their problem was nothing to worry about doesn't mean you should dismiss yours. Each case is unique and avoiding the doctor could mean a lifetime without the ability to have children or, worse, a terminal condition that might take your life. If you have a lump or cyst in that area, please get it check out!

I am 14 I found a bump a little bigger than a bb, but I don't know what it is, it has never caused any pain and I do not know how long it has been there for.

I am 15 and have the same thing described. A pimple like bump on my scrotum. It doesn't hurt unless it is pinched hard. I had one before like a year ago and it was like by at the bottom of the penis shaft almost by where the testicles begin. After like 2 weeks the bump dissapeared and I never saw anything like it until now. I highly doubt it is an STD because I am not sexually active. I read somewhere that bumps come out on the testes when you have testicular cancer. Although my bump can be freely moved around without moving that testicle that it is on top of. I am embarrased to tell my parents. I'm also worried that it is cancer but I highly doubt it because we are all experiencing the same symptoms and testicular cancer is not very common. If you know what this is please reply.

It is probably nothing but with your age and the area it is at it would be smart to have it checked out by a doctor, your normal doctor should be able to tell you something. I also have the same thing and being in nursing school I know that it's probably just a sebaceous cyst or ingrown hair but I'm still going to have it examined to be sure. We are in the age group that most men are diagnosed with testicular cancer so it is worrisome, but the fact that its not on the actual teste makes it sound like just a cyst, but please get it checked its not worth it not to it only takes a second and it will plut your mind at ease

I've had the same thing but I'm only 13 and I've had it for a month now

I Had the Same thing. I Poped it a few minutes ago squeezing it and piercing the skin with a nail cutter. I used An led Light To locate the exact spot, once i located it I squeezed it til i seen the white part then took a layer of skin off... I could then take the white cheesy hard textury stuff out like a pimple. I just had an led light and a battery laying around and worked like an X-Ray see through the skin cause its soo sensitive. I just realized i may have made matter worse now because im reading i should have left it alone. For now It seems Completely Gone I have treated the slight cut i made to take the cyst out if thats what it is. its very small i think it may be the same issue. I feel no pain, i feel like it will heal alright, im just hoping it will now grow back Bigger! i managed to take all the white out of the pocket the cyst was. I am 22 years old. had the cyst for over 6 years.. was self consious and fed up with it so i just did something about it lol! I hope it was not a mistake! :o
