I hope someone can help me. I had a horrible rash on both breast for a few days (like a bad heat rash). My left healed but my right got worse,inflammed and swollen with heat and bumps. I am near 50 and post menopause. I was put on dococycline and med dose this week to see if it starts to resolve or I will have a biopsy. It has responded some but slow. The heat is gone and reddness has calmed a bit as the swelling.
Does IBC go like this? My doc said I could not have a breast infection because I am not nursing. Surely that is not true. Does anyone ever get breast rashed that have done this
