I had a tubal 13 years ago and was told at that time that I would not be able to have any more children.
However, for the last month or 2 I have had extremely sore breasts, discharge from both nipples (more than 1 duct), my nipples are HUGE with bumps on them, I have had no period for over a month, constipation, headaches, and other symptoms.
I wonder if anyone who has had a tubal has been pregnant afterwards? I thought I was 100% safe so I've never used birth control after the tubal. The tubal was done during my c-section.
I and it was negative. I am not nauseous and my doctor drew blood showing that my hormone levels are normal. Can anyone relate? Thanks.

I had the same thing back in 2000. My tubes had been tied already 4 years at the time. I had the procedure before i married my second husband who is medically proclaimed to be sterile. After a couple years of marraige i had every single pregnancy symptom in the book. I told my husband about what i was feeling and he laughed and said wouldn't that be something if you were pregnant when both us are unable to conceive,
(he meant me) I didn't find it to be humorous at all since i have had 5 children already, hence the tubal. This went on for a few months. I told myself if i did not get my period for the third month i was going to the Doctor. I didn't get it and off i went. He took blood and urine, and just by looking at my breasts thought i was pregnant. He also said my cervix felt "funny" to him. The nurse called me three days later and told me it was negative. That call came on a Thursday morning about 9 a.m. by 11:00 that morning i had my period. All was fine, i guess it was something freaky. But in 2003, i started menopause and haven't had a period since March of that same year.
