Hi, I have a problem I would like to discuss with someone. I am a seventeen years old boy. I think that the issue I am concerned about does not have a medical background. You see, I look a lot younger then I am. It is because of my baby face. Can you help me solve this problem?

Hi, first of all you are right that having baby face is not a medical issue. Therefore you do not have to be that worried. As a matter of fact, I am not sure why you are so worried anyway. I know a lot of people that would "kill" for a baby face. I am sure that you will realize this when you are older. Since it bothers you, you can make some tricks to disguise the way your face looks. You can try to grow facial hair. It is proven that men with beards and mustaches look older then they truly are. Of course, you should grow a goatee beard and not a long one. You will be elegant as well as "older". Also, a different hairstyle might help. But, I feel you shouldn't try to hide your true self. Be proud of who you are!

I'm 21 now and I get ID'd for 18 films, alcohol and cigarettes all the time. I'll be honest I do not look over 20 at all, 18 is pushing it aswell. No word of a lie I did actually get ID'd for a 15 film not too long ago, and that did anger me, even my friends who were there thought it was plain idiotic of the woman to ask for ID.
I was in a bar once and got ID'd and this guy next to me saw my frustration and said "mate, don't worry about it - when you're 30 you'll love this" and you know what he was right.
I actually consider it a small gift to have young looks, as corny as it might sound it's actually proven to be a great chat up line when out in the city - Ask someone you like the look of the old "hey, just a question - but how old do you think I really am?" It's worked all the time ;-)
Hairstyles and facial hair does make a difference, depending on the person. Facial hair doesn't do it for me, but longish hair does.
All in all, I think you will eventually get over it and realise you're one of the lucky few :-)

Its not a bad thing. I'm 29 and still can't grow a full beard, but its also helpful cause I look like i'm in my early 20's. Definitely helps getting the 21 year old college girls.
