I've had several episodes of horrid head pain that starts with a hard snap sensation, along with a feeling that lightening struck in my head. The excruciating pain lasts only for a minute, followed by the feeling of something slowly moving through veins or blood vessels in head. Entire pain portion of episode lasts just a few minutes, but leaves a very strange set of sensations that are frightening. The only lasting effect is an inability to control eyes/eyesight.
