Hello, did you have headaches BEFORE the ACDF surgery? (Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion). Did an orthopedic doc do your original surgery or a neurosurgeon? Thank you

Im almost 2 yrs after anterior and posterior cervical fusion. Cadaver bone replacement down to L2. Huge surgery. This surgery kept me out of a wheelchair but i still have chronic headaches. My neck and shoulder myscles cramp all the time. Im going back to physical therapy. I am so gratefull but would love being headache free.

Yes I get Miagranes sometimes that put me in the hospital often to get treatment. They said the same thing because I am fused from C3-T2 I am more likely to get them. My doctor gave me a script for a ladicane
creme that I apply to keep my neck muscles relaxed.

My migraines went away after a hysterectomy 15 years ago and now I have had 3 in 2 months with the last one was the worst one that I ever had so I don't have an answer and after 4 C spine surgeries everything is worse instead of better and I hope that my GP will keep working with me and he will not send me to someone else for any poking or prodding

Hi I had my cervical fusion in 2011 on C5 C6 . I started having terrible skull aches in the back of my neck 6 months after surgery.. I have tried meds, physical therapy, heat ,cold, . But the only thing that really has helped is burning of the nerve which I started having done in 2015 and it last almost a year , it is very painful but so are those skull aches so in my opinion it is worth it and I have to have them done once a year for the rest of my life.. I wanted to share with you cause I know what you are going thru.. I hope this helps..
