Had acdf surgery 2 times in the last 3 years, yes but my headache is on the right side of my neck, and across the shoulders. Also move my head wrong and get dizzy. Definitely cannot sweep, mop or vacuum in the same day or the headache is awful and my neck gets really tired fast. Hope this helps.

Yes, I had surgery 2 months ago and awoke with a screaming headache! I have had them more often than not. Massage of my rigid neck muscles seems to help some, but I only have Tylenol and muscle relaxers in my arsenal, aside from Trypthans and Topamax I already take for migraine..
Medical marijuana seems to help break the cycle if I take 5-10 mg at night before going to sleep when I have a headache.
I have tried it 3 x after being at wits end..

Hi All. Multilevel ACSF over 11 years ago. Just recently started w headaches, not normally sufferer. Only seems to come when holding head down for too long while reading. Met a doctor who had same surgery pre stabilization. He suggested I invest in book reading stand to avoid holding head down for any prolong period of time. Had forgot about this post Academic retirement or studying textbooks for grad degree. Today suddenly reminded after reading too long. Now laying flat, drinking lots of water hoping headache resides. All the best to everyone on this thread.

Try ordering from Canada. My husband has the same symptoms as you and takes Relpax, which is a triptan drug. Canada will sell them for about $7 a pill, rather than U.S. pharmacy at $20+ a pill.

My husband had the same problem as you, debilitating migraines every day. He gets relief from triptan meds, specifically Relpax. Its very expensive but we get it from Canada at $7 a pill. I am Online now trying to research a cure. He's had Botox, steroid injections in his neck, and has been on every conceivable med with not help except for the triptans. He doesn't want to stay on them forever, so I'm looking for a solution. I see you posted a year ago. I hope you have found relief.

Yea i have had headaches on left temple only and it comes from trying to work out to strengthen the neck - i personally think you have to catch an injury very early on my injury from date of injury 2/2003 to surgery 9/2013 was 10 years because they never found a impingement on 2004 MRI. I hate this injury even more because unlike a minor car accident where whiplash iz involved i did a slip and fall on the job and workers comp only pays out so much to close the case out .. No money can compensate the lost time with my pride and joys recreation ally the nausea and pain i have been dealing with for nearly 13 years i fear will never go away unless they find another reason for the pain which i suspect iz nerve related

Well going to get the rods and screws taken out in about 3 weeks if nothing comes up - dr says 50-50 chance that this will help - NO JOKE. I am hopeful since have not felt good in a long time.
