Hi, I just started on the birth control Seasonique about three months ago.  Now I'm on the last of the pack, and at the point where I should be having my period.  I'm bleeding, but it's really different from what I'm used to.  Usually it comes out on the pad more of a brownish color and slows down a lot after the first two or three days.  But this stuff has been very red and it just seems to keep coming.  I almost think it might be getting worse, actually.  I've also noticed a lot of clumps of tissue in it, and sometimes these long strings of it?

I'm not sure if this is normal or not.  There's a history of endometriosis and fibroid tumors on my mom's side, but nothing's ever been said about me, yet.  I've also wondered about the possibility of a miscarriage, or if it's simply because of the change in hormones from starting the birth control.
