Discharge during pregnancy is normal. Sometimes, it may get so heavy that you may be under an impression you passed urine. Different things influence the amount of discharge such as blood supply, softening of the vaginal walls and cervix and the pressure from the baby’s head when s/he is ready to go out.
Do you walk a lot? Discharge may be heavier/more noticeable if you’ve had a long walk.
You didn’t explain what your discharge looked like but this is regular discharge looks like: it could be white or clear, creamy, and stretchy, it could have a smell but not an unpleasant one. Are you still having sex? If your discharge’s making you itchy, or sore, has a very bad smell, then you should have it checked, otherwise you should be fine.
If you haven’t experienced much discharge in your previous pregnancy, this may come as a surprise but you need to get used to it. You could wear a pad, and maintain regular hygiene but don’t douche or use any scented wipes as this could lead to irritation and cause imbalance in the vaginal flora.
Excessive mucus protects your uterus and the baby from infections.
If you are still uncertain, it would be wise to see your doctor.
