I am 46 yrs old. For the last ten years I have dealt with heavy periods and them happening every 2 weeks. i dont know how much longer i can take it. I have had a proceedure called Endometrial Ablation. It was to stop my periods. The doctor told me it is very effective for 90% of women in my situation. Wouldnt you know it I was in the 10%. Well 6 days ago I finally got off my period after having it for 32 days. Then 2 days ago guess what ITS BACK !! I dont know if i should scream or cry.Crying actually sounds good. I recently lost my job and i live in a city that relies on vacationers. So to find a job now is hard. I have decided to take care of me. Hysterectomy I think is my only options. I was told i was pre menopausal but i cant wait for things to happen on its own. I have 4 great kids and my kids are having grandkids and i want to enjoy them. My Other issues are I am diabetic type 2. I am always feeling tired. I also have a lump in my breast which i go in for in a week. So im under lots of stress. So am i on the right ttrack ? I need answers and help with a decision or options. i am kind of scared to go under the knife. I was told horrible stories about hysterectomy then i think what about me My period puts me out. I cant do anything. It way to heavy. Tampon last only 30 minutes anad then pad is saturated within the hour. The clotting looks like a heart or liver. PLease help ! suggestions please !!
