i had slight pink discharge after s**. this was on a sat. same thing happened on Sun. Monday evening around 5 o'clock, it felt as if it started gushing and when i checked it was like a normal period. this is now sat again, and i've had slight spotting. My husband & I want to try for a baby, but I'm not sure when to do an ovulation test, because of the confusion over my starting date. Any suggestions?

Do you usually spot before your period? How long was it between these two Saturdays that you mention?
Sperm can live in your vagina for about 5 days so having sex a few days before you ovulate is a good idea. Once you do ovulate you only have about 24-48 hours before the egg is no longer viable.
