A low sugar diet would have been beneficial to your mother.  Sugar raises the triglyceride and therefore, the LDL (including VLDL) levels.  Many people in the western world (including the United States where I live) consume a high sugar diet, and are understandably prone to cardiovascular disease.  Your mother's condition may have been too advanced to be treated by diet change alone.  But I think she can still slow down the progression of the disease by going on a low sugar diet, alongside cholesterol-lowering medications.

first of all thanx for replying to my problem!as i said before ,done the analysis she was told to follow a cure :crestor(rosuvastatin),aprovel ,tenormin and diuretics(dihidroclotyazine).thre years ago she soffered an infarct but still her heart resulted to be very healthy, so the problem was in her blood.after doing all tests she was given the cure i told u about.and now the doctor concluded that a coronarography would be be the best test to define best the diagnose.as it is a difficult test and has a percentage of mortal cases i thought "is it really necessary ?!!" Thnx again for replying and sorry for my english for i am not from the states; i am from albania.
