I recently constructed a new yard shed and within 2 days had a numbness in my right pelvic/hip area that has lasted aprox. 1 month. There is no pain and I can jog ok, but the numbness remains. Any thoughts/comments/suggestions will be greatly appreciated with thanks in advance..............

Just numbness as the only reported symptom leaves a lot of options. Without being able to look for signs (which doctor sees and symptoms patient reports) the numbness could be harmless hip subluxation or anything to a spinal cord lesion. Don't worry because the fact that you constructed a new yard shed says that it would be most likely musculoskeletal related. (from the hard activity or lifting etc) I would say have you felt any weakness in the area lately? Muscles in the butt and legs get tried quickly? If so then it would be a sign that there is a nervous problem. If not, i would consider it to be a dysfunctional join or muscle. Your best bet if your not in pain is to go to a chiropractor. They should be able to give you a full assessment and are neurological system experts.

goo luck.
