Hello! I work in a furniture factory. Since my wife is unemployed and we have two kids I work only nightshifts since they are more paid. When I come back from my work I sleep few hours. The kids always make noise, someone comes by and I just don't have enough sleep. I don't feel any problems but I am afraid this could endanger my health. How are you getting away with little sleep?

Hello! I can get away with little sleep only in a very short period of time. Since I know very well that lack of sleep disrupts every physiologic function in the body I am trying to sleep as much my body needs. Also, I know that healthy people who do not get enough sleep or who shift their sleep schedules because of work may be endangering their health. There were many studies that found an increased risk of death among those who slept less than six hours a night. Your have to find way to have more sleep. Otherwise you will find yourself in dangerous situation after some time.
