Yeah, like the other replier said, monitor ovulation. Also there are certain posistions that work better than others. For a lot of couples a good posistion is missionary, but if that doesn't seem to be working try doggystyle. That worked for me. And after intercourse lay on the bed with a pillow under your butt and your knees up with your feet on the bed for about 30 minutes to help the sperm get up there. Good luck.

But if you were on any type of BC for a prolonged amount of time say 4 or more years most people that I know took just about a year to get pregnant after going off of it. The ladies I know that got pregnant faster were on BC a shorter amount of time maybe only a year or two. It's completely normal to take a year or more to get pregnant and therefore most doctors won't do fertility tests until after that point.

But as the other poster said there are methods to figuring out when you are most fertile. It takes a lot of dedication to do it properly though. You have to take your temperature the same time everyday and do a lot of monitoring of your body. But if you do it properly it should help you to learn a lot about yourself and when to try.
