I am taking GCSE PE and it's going to involve some swimming. I don't want to be missing the lessons just because of my period so I tried inserting a tampon. The applicator seemed to be in as far as it would go and when I pushed the tube up to shoot up the tampon it hurt like hell and it was like it was just pushing into my skin- not up a hole. This is about the tenth time I've tried tampons and I really don't want to give up. Any advise?
