how is hypercondriac diagnosed?

Loading...

Hypochondria usually isn't diagnosed unless it is severely effecting the persons quality of life. The majority of people with hypochondria will lead relatively normal lives. Hypochondriacs can ultimately end up having lots of different and sometimes invasive tests where the test are inconclusive, the proverbial 'wild goose chase'. This posses a challenge for clinicians because you must be absolutely certain that the patient doesn't have a tangible problem before passing the patient to a psychologist. Hypochondria is an OCD type illness causing feelings of anxiety, OCD has been linked with serotonin levels.

Hallo,
This is very interesting question I have to say. This is not a disease that you can diagnose but a condition that is affected by your mental issue where you are telling yourself that you are always sick but the fact is that your body is very healthy and has no medical conditions at all. This is problem that many have. The fact is that their waste their own time on some imaginary condition that they don’t have and try to get more attention from doctors and other people. In my opinion with simple physiological therapy you can treat this condition very fast and you will feel much better when this mental condition is out of your life.
