hi, i have had the symptoms for epididymitis for 3 and a half days now but the pain has not elevated or decreased, i have a doctors appointment scheduled for the 29th, so its a 4 day wait untill i can even consult my doctor about this, will i be ok or would it be risky to leave it?? i am very worried about this because i know it can spread and turn into chronic epididymitis or a few more complications, so will 4 days make anymore problems?? please help, thankyou.

Four days can be an eternity if you have something serious. You can phone in your concern to your doctor's office. Leave a message detailing exactly how you are feeling. Sometimes the doctor can see you earlier if one of his patients cannot keep the appointment. In case the pain gets worse, visit the emergency room right away.

Odds are you won't be in much worse condition by the time the appointment rolls around.
But I agree with Hoseclamps above, that if you're in real pain, you need to communicate that to the doctor's office.
They usually can MAKE ROOM for serious cases, or urgent needs that trump a casual appointment.

Let us know what the doctor says, will you? It's always nice to hear back from the doc how they respond to this.
