I recently came into contact with someone who found out they had chlamydia and scheduled a doctor's appointment. About two days before the appointment my scrotum started to swell and hurt a lot. My doctor prescribed me azithyrin (I know I got that spelled wrong). It is now three days later and most of the pain has gone away. Unfortunately,  the swelling hasn't gone down and has instead hardened. I don't know if this is normal or if I should be worried. Not sure if I should wait and see my doctor on Monday when the office is open or just go to urgent care.
