Hello. I am an epididymitis victim, and wanted to inquire for a further feedback, again. I've had this problem for a year. I've seen several different urologists, and they all have had about the same opinion and info about my case. Which was seldom, and not truly satisfying. I took Levaquin antibiotic for months, and most of the pain and irritation went away. About 2 months ago, it came back. I went back on it, I did okay, but I keep having pain flashes and assumable inflamation. However, during this course since I got this, I've never had swelling, dishcarge, blood in urine or semen. I've been told being active is better for me. My 1 ultrasound showed a small hydrocele, my doctor told me it was very common, and not serious because it was so small. So, I feel the trouble moved into my testicles, and flares both epididymi at a moments notice. The severity increased too. I am DESPARATE to know why this keeps coming back, and why it has not finished healing. Why it won't stay gone? What do I have to do, or what have I done wrong? This really decays my quality of life, one day at a time. I'm looking for help.

Thank You,
Angelo Ricci

Hi there Angelo, I don't necessarily think that you have done anything wrong. I know that it's an issue that's difficult to deal with but I think that you can cope with it. It seems you might have an antibiotic resistant strain--so unfortunately that's something you're going to have to deal. Does that help at all?
