Hey! I have felt those same symptoms and they get less worse with time... im clean for a month and a half now, and all my symptoms are gradually fading away..

I'm on day 11.
The first 5 days were the worse for me.
Sweats/hot flashes, chills, shakes, lessened appetite, mood swings, severe depression and anxiety, insomnia, vivid dreams, you understand.
My appetite returned on day 7 but not fully, which if fine, this is a good opportunity to change your eating habbits to a more nutritious one.
Increasing the rate at which you sweat and expel waste from your body (urine) by drinking lots of fluids and perhaps excersie or a sauna, seems to help. And showering everyday.
Of all the symptoms listed above, Only insomnia remains, and the occassional craving to smoke up. However with focus you can overcome the cravings and for the insomnia i suppose time and whatever can help you to relax (try masturbating lol or a hot bath) before bed.
For those of you that believe in intuition and vibes and all that. I believe weed dampens those senses. I was unable to read people or feel them out as i could before my excessive smoking. Also dreaming had become sparse. Now my dreams are back in full effect every night vivid dreams and my intuitive senses seem to have come back with a cruel ferocity. As I was able to tell that my "loved one" was bahaving strangely and that I could see through his manipulations. When we met we were both heavy smokers, so it seems to make sense why I couldn't sense his deceptions.
Everyone on here reading this or posting on here has kicked the habit of blazing or wishes to. It's important that we share our experiences. But it is safe to say that everyone experiences a different rate of detoxification. Keep at it! We can do it.

Same here, stopped 2 days now and use a glass of vodka to help me get some sleep. Smoked very strong pot for 5 years, 4-6 joints a day. I always hated mornings and was alright in the evenings. Nowadays even the evenings are boring, slow and screwed up. I can't even really enjoy playing videogames or something, with cravings every 5-10 minutes. I go from 0 to 100 in 0.5 sec. And I thought depression was hard...

Yes, your anxiety comes from smoking pot. It makes you more suspicious, lowers your self-esteem and so on. The first 1-3 weeks will be hard, with alot of anxiety, nights without (much)sleep and other symptoms. But you have to keep reminding yourself that the fact is: it will get better each day(after +- day 4) and you WILL feel soo much better after 1-2 months. I know it's very hard to quit and the only way you will quit with succes is when you 100% stand behind your decision to quit. I'm on day 3 now and never thought I would be able to do this. Trust me, if I can do it, you can aswell. Search the internet for tips and good luck on your quest to soberness/happiness everyone!

I'm 32 smoking pot since 16.over th last 5years I smoked an unbelievable amount per day between 8 15 js per day nearly every day. Gave up 5 months ago due to severe panic attacks stemming from a chest muscle strain. Pulled the muscle and thought getting stoned would alleviate the feeling instead intensifying it so much I thought I as dying of a heart attack. After several doctors appointments and blood tests.,found my heart to be fine so continued to smoke. Anxiety worsened. Gave up cold turkey, 5months on withdrawal symptoms are still very much present. Mostly around my eyes which in turn affects my head. Is there anyone who is experiencing or has experienced this and can offer some advice.

this is hilarious lol... Marijuana is not physically addictive, plain and simple. So if you have cold sweats, stomach pain, the shakes, etc etc, look at ither aspects of your life. If anything, the marijuana is dulling the negative effects of your shitty diet, your ciggarette smoking, bad sleep habits, whatever... abd when you stop smoking pot, you attribute those effects to withdrawek, but have no fear... there are no actual withdrawels from pot, cause it is NOT ohysically addictive. Your withdrawels are completely in your head. Youre welcome.

Dude, it sounds like you have Cluster Headache. Check that sh*t out... I have that too and is unrelated to Marijuana use (if you have CH and drink beer, you are f***ed). Good luck!

I have been smoking weed for 35 years and am into my third week of giving it away. I have had depression for most of my life but its a lot worse with giving the dope away. I dont have cravings but i do have lack of appetite and occasional anger but other then that i feel i will be okay. Ive beaten cancer 3 times and dont have support. I was a chronic smoker . I am doing this for my mental and physical health. Try and stay positive when you feel crappy and know in your heart you can beat the addiction.
