Hello, folks. I have heard something about ciliary dyskinesia and its importance in appearance of the respiratory tract diseases. I would like to know how much this condition contributes to creation of sinusitis. This piece of info would be interesting to be found out. I would appreciate all your replies considering this.

Hi, there. Primary ciliary dyskinesia is also known as Kartagener syndrome. This is a rare genetic disorder. There is a deficiency of the movement of cilia in the respiratory tract and fallopian tubes. It can lead to many diseases, and among them there is sinusitis. Mucus clearance here is much compromised.
