I had it when I was your age when I wanted my Grandma (didnt live with my mom) to buy me some pads and tampons for the first time. I use to be really shy when it came to these things. Try what I did. Write a little note to your mom. That's what I did. I walked up gave her the envelope and ran away. She immediately went to the store bought me a pack and put them in my room on my bed when everyone was havig supper with a note if I wanted to talk it was okay.
You should ask her yourself but I know I couldn't get myself to so here's an alternative.

Hi I would say that if you want to ask your mom to buy you pads than all you have to do is go up to her and say "umm hey mom I am a little uncomfortable about getting my period at school can you buy me pads just in case" and if that makes you uncomfortable when she is at the store or you are at home you can text her just keep in mind that your mom has gone through all of this and she knows what your going through

Hi I am 13 years old and I what to ask my mom for pads, tampons, and panty liners but I am a shy kid and I do not like talking about that kind of stuff with my parents I will only talk about it with certain friends so it is hard for my to ask her and if the words come out she immediately calls my nan and aunt and tells them then my nan and aunt start talking to me about it so I really need help
