I need some help with my problem. I am 38 years old and it seems like I am having an unstable humerus fracture, at least that is what a friend of mine, a doctor told me. I do feel a lot of pain but the arm seems ok, although I cannot use it properly. How to diagnose this, should I go to the doctor?

Yes, you must. The point is, breaking a bone does not have to include one bone breaking in half; the break might be incomplete, or unstable. That could be determined only by the roentgen examination. There is also a risk that the bone might break completely and that will take a lot longer time for healing than it is now. See the doctor asap!
