I'm 13 years old, and I used to go to the dentist every 6 months. I stopped going at 11, as we moved far away, and my mum is going to take us to another one some time soon when she has time! I'm really scared, as my previous dentist wasn't comforting, and maybe even a little mean! I'm also worried there's going to be something very wrong with my teeth, as I haven't been to the dentist in 2-3 years, and my mum says I have to go! I know its silly as not every dentist is mean, but I'm still sooo scared!!!!! Help

Okay, relax.....Dentists will not hurt you, they want to help you! There is nothing to be afraid of.......With your mom in the room for you check up , the dentist will not be able to hurt you with a witness there! Duh! He would be put in jail and would be fired. :-D
