Hey ladies! I'm 24, an RN, not overweight, not stressed out, telling my man what I want, and engaged to an amazing man of whom I'm absolutely comfortable with (and fully trust) ... and yet I still can't cum (never have with a partner... only with myself...) ... Upon my latest trip to the Gynecologist I found that those cysts that affected me at 15 are actually causing me to have a hormone imbalance that is not only causing me to not cum but is also raising my Blood Pressure! So if it persists go and get it checked out!

BTW... did you know that if a woman can not orgasm during sex... it's typically a psychological issue as in your mind won't shut down enough to ALLOW you to enjoy yourself! ... I know this sounds kinky BUT try a blind fold! Not only does it heighten your senses to touch and sound but it also helps to clear your mind. Not your cup of tea? Try reading a book (romance novel maybe?) right before bed... It helps you relax!  As one of the fellas said above ... music helps a lot... but my problem is I'm a music nerd and find myself involved with the music more than the sex.

The main thing is... talk about it with your significant other! Alex, my fiance, was really disappointed in himself at the beginning... but once we talked about it he understands that it isn't him and it isn't me... it's just the way my body is made :) On top of all things... BE CREATIVE!

                                                                                            Sincerely,

your local sex enthusiast and RN :)

To anyone who stumbles upon this after so long....I used to be the same. I was like "am I even normal?" "Why me?" but seriously. I loosened up and took 'charge'... meaning yes, it hurt me too when my boyfriend continuously rubbed my clit (and I hated it) But for some reason...I started doing myself, my own pressure and speed and BOOM! F.Y.I you'll know when it happens because it feels amazing!! ;)

I'm going through such a similar thing. I'm only 16 and I lost my virginity to my boyfriend, however he is 20 and has slept with others before. We've been together 4 months and he's never pressured me to do anything I don't want to and I feel totally comfortable with him. But with sex I just can't come! He does fine, but it takes me forever to even get close. He thinks its him but I know it's just me. I have no idea what to do. Help :(

Let him keep thinking that so he tries harder and you'll turn him into a super lover.

How can you lose?

I am able to have clitoral orgasms when I stimulate myself, I've tried getting my boyfriend to do what I do but it doesn't work, I am so in love with him and he is with me too, we've been having sex for about a year but I've never had a single orgasm with him, I've faked a lot of them so that he doesn't feel so bad but I feel bad for faking. I really want to start having orgasms with him because I know I'm able to :( Please help me, I really would appreciate it.

Wow!  I'm going through all of this too.  I thought I'd be the only one but when I searched online for answers, I realized I wasn't.  However, my fiance does all of the suggested things and I still can't cum.  No matter what we do.  For the past month the only change I've had is I quit taking my birth control.  Could that be a reason I won't cum?  He cums like 3-4 times before I just finally say stop and get depressed and go to sleep.  I relax during sex and even oral sex and none of it helps.  I use toys and everything and I just can't cum.  This has only been going on for about a month though.  Like I said, it's been just since I quit taking my birth control and NO I'm NOT pregnant.  I was more aroused during the 7 months I was pregnant before than any other time during our 3 year relationship.  SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Well the only reason can be you don't trust him at all.or in case you are detached ,depressed and hormonal problems too..so i would suggest you for gynae..dat's best option.sometimes feelings are not bar in such situations..:)..good luck ..

im 18 and i can only cum by myself with clitoral pleasure. my boyfriend is a little jealous and doesnt want me using toys so i cant buy a dildo to try and cum by myself. he feels really guilty and tries really hard to the point of exhaustion. i get really frustrated and sometimes burst out crying after. i havent been sexually active for very long, about 7 months but we have constant intercourse. am i just too new at the sexual experiences to actually orgasm? should i give it time?

I have been having the same problem. Me and my boyfriend has been dating for about five months now. Back before him, I had a bad relationship with my ex and it made feel like I was being used as a sex toy. I really do love my boyfriend but I have only been able to come once. Any other time and it would be nothing. He has started to say that it's my fault because I can't open up to him even though we have been dating for so long. It gives me relief that I am not the only one who cannot come. I need to find a way to stimulate myself where he and I can both enjoy sex and I am able to come.
