I dont know why i missed my periods inspite of precaution

When you did the pregnancy test did you use your very first morning urine?  If not, retry the test.  Your first morning urine is more concentrated, darker, so more likely to give you an accurate result.

You are more than a week late.  By this time the results should be accurate.  It is possible to "skip" a period without cause, but, it would be a good idea for you to check with your doctor as to why you missed the period.

Sometimes the home tests just don't work.

By 7-10 days late you should read positive if you were pregnant. If you are not, you should have had your period.

See your doctor to find out why you haven't had your period. It can be the test or something else.
