I had a baby 3 months ago, she was 4 weeks premature but with no complications. About 3 week's ago, I had severe abdominal pains down my lower left side and passed dark plum coloured stools followed by blood. I went to hospital but was sent home. The next day I started to have Brown mucus discharge from my vagina, it was a very small amount and only when I wiped after going to the toilet, the past couple of days it's gotten a lot thicker, like small clots sometimes accompanied with a small amount of bright red blood! I should mention that I took the morning after pill about a week before all this happened, I don't know if that's relevant.

I would also like to add, the night before the discharge turned into clots, my husband and I were intimate, we didn't have sex but I did climax, and I also forgot to say that a few hours before the original problem began we did have sex, again I don't know if it's relevant but I want to give as much info as possible to try and determin the cause. Any advise would be most appreciated, thanks in advance
