I am 21 years old and have been with my new boyfriend for 2months. I have been taking the pill for 5 years now (cilest - low oestrogen i believe). We both decided to get checked out last week. he went on the morning of monday 2nd June and came home and they had told him he had an NSU (non specific urethritis) which can be caused by his soap. I went and got checked that afternoon and they gave me antibiotics (to take 4 tablets all at once) just in case! I took them at 4:30 and at half 6 was being sick! I rang the clinic and they made me an appointment for friday morning i went back and they gave me the same tablets again and told me all my test results were clear. I have been having unprotected sex (apart from the pill) and now keep feeling sick, dizzy constantly tired, last week i had a light pink discharge and today it is nasty brown!! could i be pregnant? somebosy help please!

Using antibiotics will cause your birth control to lose effect. So, you should be using another form of birth control (i.e condoms) if you don't want to become pregnant. However, if you did become pregnant, it would be a little early to feel symptoms, although some women do experience symptoms early. The discharged can be caused by your birth control losing effect. But, i suggest using condoms until your birth control starts working again. you can try taking a pregnancy test in about a week.
