I have been unwell now for nearly 2 years :-( It all started soon after I went to University in 2006. Prior to this time I was a fit and active 20 year old who went to the gym atleast 3 times a week and never had any major health problems. SO... during freshers week I did 2 things out of the ordinary! I drank lots of alcohol every night for 5 days and I also had sexual contact but not sex with a girl! Now one of these to changes im sure has made me ill! About a week after these 2 incidents I became unwell with nausea, sore throat and a penile discharge. I also felt very run down! I left it for a week thinking it would go away but as I was worried about the discharge I went to the doctor! They advised me to go to and STD clinic. About a week after that I saw the nurse at the STD clinic who told me I had NSU and gave me a course of antibiotics to take. I started taking the tablets and felt 100% again!
A few days after the tablets had been taken I began to have the same symptoms once again.
Since then I have been to an STD clinic 10 times each time they have either told me there is nothing wrong or that its NSU but nothing specific such as clamidia etc!
Over the 2 years I have had severe bouts of flu quite often and constantly have the following symptoms:-
Constant nausea
pain in abdomen (especially around stomach)
constant red enflamed throat (many times with white pus like patches)
chest pains in left
belching
pleghm in back of throat
penile discharge on and off
Its the feeling sick that is the worst thing! I just want to be well again! I cant live like this much more PLEASE HELP
