That is a dumb thing to do. A UTI is only ONE of the possible problems. There are much much worse, wait until you get PID as a poster above mentions. Yes it is safe if you and you partner are both hygienic. Be sure and lube up I just use petroleum jelly. Also DO NOT rush take slow. Be careful I've known friends that had to be hospitalized because they've lost toys up there. Good luck
