I am new to this site so sorry if this is posted in the wrong section or whatever.
A few days ago i noticed this red area on the shaft of my penis. It does not hurt on its own, but hurts a small amount when i touch it. I have read about herpes symptoms and I seem to have a few of them; small bumps in the infected area, slight pain.
My girlfriend and I have not had sex yet, as i am a virgin. Recently she gave me a hand job, and the 1 or 2 days later i noticed this red area. This area is also very small, maybe 1/6th of an inch wide.
It kind of looks like some herpes pictures i googled, and is made of up small bubbles (maybe 5 or 6 total).
I am kind of scared about this, being im only 17 and have what looks like herpes, yet am a virgin.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, and i will reply with additional information if requested.

Highly doubt you have herpes... it could be possible IF your girlfrind has herpes, fingered herself/touched a herpes lesion on the outside/inside of her vagina the proceded to give you a hand job. not sure what it could be with out seeing a picture or similar looking picture (can you post any links to them?) where at on your shaft is it and is it getting any bigger or changing in shape, sensitivity or texture? is it leaking/draining anything and do/have you had any other symptoms such as a fever?

I have no fever or sickness at all.
Its right under the penis head on the shaft.
Its maybe as big as a pencil eraser diameter (bad example but only thing i could think of)
It seems to have shrunk slightly since yesterday, and still only hurts if i physically touch it (dosnt hurt alot when touched, but slightly)
It is not leaking anything and as i said no fever/sickness/pain in any other part of my body.

I would continue to watch it for a week or so and see if it goes away or gets worse. as far as sex goes.... have you ever had any sexual relations with anyone either forced, accidental or on purpose??

like i said earlier just watch it it sounds like it is disappearing so thats good. if it comes back then mabey get it checked out. it may just be some form of harmless cyst :-)

Yea its about 90% gone for now, and its been about 5 days total.
