I have had pain in my lower right pubis region as if I had a hernia or appendicitis since Oct 9th. A CT scan and surgeon's exam ruled out the hernia and appendix issues. The pain has increased expenentially to not only hurting my right pubic area (right area in pubic hair) but also is now radiating down my right leg and if I stand too long, goes all the way to my knee. I am still having solid BM's (no diahrrea) and urinating fine, no stress or pain in those situations. Just swelling in the region and extreme pain when I stand, walk more than a few steps, sit too long and driving is the worst. I have been taking anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxers as prescribed by my doctors and to no avail. I was also prescribed vicodin which constipates me so I do not take it and just deal with the pain. Stretching, crossing my legs while laying down, coughing, sneezing and laughing all create a sharp pain but I normally have a throbbing pain at all times. I am not pregnant nor have I ever been and I have not had sex in over a yr. and I don't have any STD's. I was told by the surgeon that he "thinks more is going on down there," but did not elaborate and has ordered a CT scan. I'm asking you if you can possibly give me ideas of what this could be so I don't go in and be blind-sided with a horrible diagnoses. Could you please give me some ideas to what could cause this problem? Thank You So Much!!!

My Father in law is going the same symptoms (Identical) . Have you found out exactly what was going on in your case? Please let me know if you could let me know anything as my father in law's MRI is proving hard to get scheduled any sooner than 4 to 6 weeks out and the pain is not getting any better. Thanks, Gus
