I am only 18 I lived a bad life things happend to me growing up and I have cought a std but I got the treat ment I don't know if it ever cleard but I had got told I had it again I want a baby I'm you g but I have my own house I work I go to school and I wanna have someone to love cause I never felt they I want a baby and I'm scared I can't have one because what can happen to you ... Hi there! The connection between STD and infertility does exist. But first of all, not for all STD. You didn't mention exactly which one you had. Chlamydia and gonorrhea are import causes of infertility. I’ll assume you had Chlamydia which is extremely common. Normally if the infection treated properly on time you won’t have complications. And from the non-treated women (which is not your case) around 10-20% will have complications. So in your case, if it was Chlamydia and treated I wouldn't worry. And take care and avoid to be contaminated again because multiple infections increases the risk of infertility.
