Hello, folks. I like the concept of vegetarian food since I care about the animals. However, I like fish a lot and I couldn’t imagine my menu without it. If I don’t eat meat, but I eat just fish, am I a flexitarian? I have recently heard about this term. I hope I’ve understood it correctly. Thanks in advance.

Hello, there. I am afraid you are not right. Flexitarians are vegetarians who occasionally eat meat. So you wouldn’t be one. However, you would be a pescetarian. Pescetarians eat fish and other non-mammal sea animals. They also eat fruit, vegetables, nuts and beans. Pesco-vegetarianism is also used term, but it is controversial and less used. I hope this helps. Bye!
