ok so about a week ago i went to the restroom and i noticed a small puddle of blood on my panties but then after that when i put a pad on there was no more blood ,did i start my period or not i've been having discharge about 7 to 8 months now and now it comes about more then 6 times a day ,i have cramps, and alot of other symptoms,did i start or am i very close to starting??? 8-| 8-|

Yes, it sounds like you started your period. Your first period can look and feel odd as your body gets used to menstruating. Don't worry, it'll settle into something more normal later on.
