i have a SEVERELY infected gland. luckily, i now understand they are normal and i am LEAVING THEM ALONE!!!
however they were a big cause of embarrassment for a while, so naturally i would try to "pop" and get rid of them.
is there anything i can do just from home? right now im using gauze and anti-bactrial gel/cream for now.
i think i might need a surgeon. the infection is quite deep and severe.

A montgomery gland infection needs antibiotics. Go to the doctor and get some. That should take care of it!!! If you don't it could get wrse and result in a very painful procedure such as excision of the area! I am sure you are fine, but go to the doctor please!! Hope this helps!

I too have a few lumps but one is getting bigger and bigger. I used to squeeze it and get a thick white substance out of it, but now, it's to tender to touch. Today, at my yearly exam the Dr. got very concerned, and is sending me to a surgeon to have it removed! I am SOOOOO scared! I have been on a lot of antibiotics since this all started, and it never went away. I also have not had much sensation in that nipple since the 2nd child (and last). I also had to have a partial hysterectomy in 2006 do to medical neseccity. I AM PETRIFIIED!!!!
