I've had this tongue ring for about three weeks now and it's recently been giving off some slightly greenish discharge. It's been discharging since I got it, but recently it's been turning a slight shade of green. I'm curious if it's sign of an infection. I've been taking extreme careful care of it - soaking my barbells in mint listerine, brushing the area around the barbell and as close to the hole as I can get when I brush my teeth (2-3 times a day) and I wash my mouth out with mouthwash after every meal...am I being careful enough?
