I must admit that I have never been this frightened in my life, as in the moment I have heard our little daughter has been caught by the fire. Thank God she is alive and well, all we have to do now is deal with the burn, which luckily affected only a small potion of her arm and is considered a second degree bun. Is there a risk of some infection occurring here?

There is always a possibility for some infection occurrence and I would like to say that the doctors are also considering that when treating the burn. And I assume she has already got the best possible care, so relax a bit. It is also important to support your child, because this has been a psychological shock too and she has to learn to deal with it.
