I had an interval running schedule that was something like:
WEEK 1
Mo - Rest
Tu - Run 4 min / walk 2 min for 30 min
We - Rest
Th - Run 4 min / walk 2 min for 35 min
Fr - Rest
Sa - Run 4 min / walk 2 min for 45 min
Su - Recovery run - run 5 min / walk 3 min for 30 min
WEEK 2
Mo - Rest
Tu - Run 5 min / walk 2 min for 35 min
We - Rest
Th - Run 5 min / walk 2 min for 40 min
Fr - Rest
Sa - Run 5 min / walk 2 min for 50 min
Su - Recovery run - run 6 min / walk 3 min for 35 min
And so on and so forth, or something like that. I'm very unclear of the times after the first couple of days, and of the actual progression of times. At some point, the schedule transitioned to running for X miles instead of run/walk intervals.
In any case, I can no longer find it. Does anyone know where I can get it or a similar schedule for beginning runners?
