But the doctor told me that I suffer from intestinal tuberculosis. Is it possible? I know that it is disease that attacks the lungs. Can you tell me how could I get it?

Yes it is very much possible. Any portion of gastrointestinal tract may be affected by tuberculosis. Various pathogenetic mechanisms are involved: swallowing of sputum with direct seeding, hematogenous spread, or ingestion of milk from cows affected by bovine turbeculosis. Abdominal pain, diarrhea, obstruction, hematochezia, and a palpable mass in abdomen are common findings at presentation. Fewer, weight loss and night sweats are also frequent.
