Irregular period, pregnancy symptoms. Could I still be pregnant?

Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex on my period, I was stupid enough to let him cum in me because I thought I wouldn't be able to get pregnant on my Period. I have irregular periods and do I don't know when I ovulate. It's been about two months now, I wasn't worried until my lower back started hurting, mostly on my right side. then I started craving food I never usual eat. I feel nausea out of the blue sometimes. I have bad headaches/migraines. Along the way, about a month, I had spotting that was only visible when I wipe, for about 6 days I suppose. Now I've been having tender breast, it hurts whenever it touches something or something touches it. My nipples are very sensitive and is erected without being touched. I took three hpt so far, all are negative. But I don't know when to actually take the hpt, because my periods are irregular like I said. Could I possibly still be pregnant? Please help!

While a late period and a negative pregnancy test generally means you are not pregnant, it is so much harder for women with irregular periods. I completely understand why you are wondering, could I still be pregnant? I'd feel the same, I'm sure.

Most women do not get pregnant from sex they had while they were still experiencing menstrual flow, but you also have to keep in mind that sperm cells can survive inside the female reproductive system for days, generally 5 days I think. If you ovulated really early, it's feasible that you could be pregnant, but in that case you'd still be able to get a positive test after two to three weeks. (After ovulation, not after period.)

All in all, I'd say get it checked out with a doctor.
