Hi,
I want some help in identifying what I can possibly have. Since September after having a miscarriage and a UTI following after I began to have irregular periods. I wasn't worried about the irregular periods until they became 10 days late and giving me a different unexpected date each time.
I started getting lower abdominal cramps and lower back pain, and some times pain in my thighs, which was odd since I've never had any cramps while having my period my entire teen years. I would also have these lower abdominal cramps out of nowhere any time of the day and especially if I wore tight pants that were normal, plus I would have nausea in the middle of the night every other night.
Then in November I went to see this licensed doctor that read sickness through touching/reading vital signs of the wrists and by looking at the patient's tongue. The doctor told me I had ovarian cysts but I didn't know which type. After that I just let it be since most people say ovarian cysts are normal and would only last a few months. A little after that the pains went away but my irregular period got worse. I've also seen this very same doctor a year before and she said my fallopian tubes were clogged and I did take herbal medicine for it.
In December I noticed my period wouldn't stop and lasted twenty days. I wasn't worried since I thought it was only going to be a weird one time thing. I was bleeding clots of all sizes from gigantic ones to little ones. Then in January my period lasted fifteen days but it was a weird one. It was a lighter bleeding than usual and the color wasn't all that red like normal, it was pink but closer to red but not exactly. In the middle of that period a weird rubbery piece of blood clot looking thing came out and that was the end of that. I had a lot of nausea that was constant this month but gone in February.
In February I'm currently bleeding 14 days and it's almost over but the brown bleeding isn't exactly done yet. The odd thing is this period is more normal than January's. This period is dark red and lots of clots, the biggest is an inch long and the rest are tinier, but the clots aren't as big as December's. Odd thing is January and February's periods are only ten days apart.
I forgot to mention that back in my teen years (I'm 20 now) my period would just start and end in the normal red color. After I started having these problems my period started brown then light pink then red and ends light pink then brown again. I heard the coloring is normal but in my case I don't think so since I've never had it that way before.
I'm not sure what is exactly wrong but I'm hoping to get some help or suggestions from anyone who knows what can be up or from those who have experienced this. I have insurance but it doesn't cover much and I don't have the money to go to the doctor yet so hopefully I can go eventually. For the time being I would just like to get help on what this could be.
